Criminal Records Bureau

It is the policy of the club that all volunteers, club coaches and members of the committee have regularly CRB checks to ensure their suitability to have contact with young persons.

Policy on the Use of Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) Disclosures

Filling in a Disclosure Form Advice

Please take the time to read the policy. CRB disclosure application forms are available from Robert Gordon.

On application, Robert MUST see the relevant documents as stated on page 4 of the  filling in a disclosure form advice document. Please do not be offended by this, but no exceptions can be made for anyone.

Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) Policy

At the AGM in 2009, it was agreed that all club coaches and committee members, where applicable, would have a CRB check.

During 2009-10 any members which this was applicable to, were CRB checked. These will be renewed periodically as required by the clubs safeguarding children policy.

Any new members with coaching qualifications, or existing members gaining a coaching qualification who wish to take part in the clubs junior coaching sessions will be required to have a CRB check prior to starting.

Once the acceptable CRB results have been received the individual concerned will then be added to the coaching rota.
